Valery Blokhin

Biography:

Born on December 30, 1964 in Novorossiysk.
1984 – Graduated from Krasnodar Art College.
Since 1987 – takes part in Krasnodar, Regional, Republican, All-Russian and International exhibitions.
1990 – Member of the Artists' Union of Russia.
1990 – First personal exhibition, Karlsruhe, Germany

Titles and awards:

1999 – Honorary member of the Academy of Arts of the Czech Republic named after Masaryk. Gold medal award by the Czech Academy of Arts.
2006 – Silver medal award by the Russian Academy of Arts.
2007 – Member of the Creative Union of artists of Russia.
2011 – Gold medal award by the Russian Academy of Arts for the series of exhibitions «The Silk Road».
2012 – Member-correspondent of the Russian Academy of Arts.
